Greetings Everyone!
And Happy Halloween! We had our Halloween celebrations here in Rovereto this past weekend. Although it is seen largely as an American celebration, it was a grand affair in our fair city and a lot of fun for i bambini (children) and adults alike. There were stalls set up in the main squares for making costumes (all in black, of course), with pointy hats being the favorite. It’s the fashion for the little witches at Halloween. There was another stall set up supplied with a crate of American pumpkins (we do grow them here) where the kids and grownups alike could ply their skills at carving jack-o-lanterns. Kids with knives…well, they had to be supervised by a parent or adult. Afterwards there was a good supply of pumpkin seeds for the more health conscious set. On the streets there was Death on stilts, accompanied by a witch on stilts. But the bigger hit was the man in the inflated mummy outfit, posing with the adults and giving high-fives to the kids. My wife asked him if he was hot in the suit, but the voice from beyond the grave said he was most comfortable. The suit had its own air conditioning.
That time of year has come around once again, as the sun moves southward and gathers the daylight hours to rest in the passing of the year. It’s harvest time in the north, the ingathering of sustenance for the winter and the time to reflect on the gains or losses for the year. The time of yearly contemplation sets in, to be fully enjoined in the winter months. The shift in the hours of daylight sets in at the Libra equinox, becoming noticeable in nature and in thought. In the north that equinox does denote the start of ingathering. We have to change our behavior as the daylight wanes. A new rhythm intervenes in nature and in our behavior. The yin forces more and more predominate up until the Capricorn solstice. If we have chosen well in the preceding months then we garner a wealth of wisdom, born of experience. This brings us to our Libran theme for this letter. If we have made the right choices, then we are assured of a good destiny going forward.
Libra: We will keep this section very short this year due to the election and some decisive events unfolding in these months. Libra is one of the ‘human signs’, in not being represented by animal symbolism. The other such signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Aquarius. But there is another meaning in terms of its being a ‘human sign’. The human kingdom in nature is a sort of ‘waystation’ for the energies that affect the planet. We, as a species are the transmitters and transformers of energies from many sources – planetary, extra-planetary, earthly, universal and so on. We embody the three lower kingdoms of nature, with the mineral composition of our bodies, being nourished by and nourishing by the transmuting power of the vegetable kingdom (the alchemy of converting minerals to food) and our combined lower bodies being an animal construct in and of itself. But we are more.
The esoteric motto of Libra is “I choose the way which lies between the two great lines of force.”[6] It is said that in the graded stages of The Path that Libra represents contemplation.[7] That in itself is a middle stage in the process of liberation from the wheel of life and death (samsara). The two preceding stages are represented in the zodiac as concentration (Leo) and meditation (Virgo), wherein the one-pointed orientation of the mindstream is developed, necessary for the steadied mind necessary for contemplation. There are two succeeding signs and stages, too – illumination (Scorpio) and inspiration (Sagittarius) – as we go around the wheel of the zodiac. Contemplation can be seen as a mode of living. But there is another way to read the esoteric motto Libra, in that ‘the way’ also implies an actual pathway – the antahkarana. The antahkarana is the bridge in mental matter that links the ‘two great lines of force’, which are the personality and the soul.
The rainbow bridge (antahkarana) is developed in the concentration and meditative processes. When contemplation is engaged then the bridge comes into conscious utilization. One’s choices in life, on the path, can either be reasoned (as in the lower mind) or conscious, springing from intuition. But in the Libran phase there is a gentle rhythm back and forth between the lower and higher aspects of mind, with neither one dominating. It is a phase wherein the reasoning mind is illuminated through the process of contemplation, but as yet the lower mind still clings to its ideas and struggles with the incoming light. That struggle is fully enjoined in the next phase, Scorpio, where the soul (consciousness) finally overcomes the fixity of the lower mind. With all this as the backdrop, we see there are major choices being forced upon us in the guise of current events. If enough people are able to bridge the personal and spiritual then we have a chance to set the course of our collective destiny in a more spiritual direction. With that we move on to the full moon, which was quite powerful for the Libra interval this year.
The full moon took place on 17 Oct 2024 at 11:26 UTC (10:26 pm AEDT). As a chart, it exudes tension. As it turned out (and still is) the figure is living up to its potential. The full moon axis is squared by Mars and Pluto on either side. In addition the two planets are in a wide, but approaching opposition. The combination of the four – the lunation, Mars and Pluto – define a Great Cross in the figure, which indicates either an ability to persist and work until the point of collapse, or instead mass destruction, brutality or even an ‘act of God’. Added to this is a quincunx between the Sun and Uranus, indicating sudden and/or unexpected events or shocks. Ameliorating all this is the separating trine between the Sun and Jupiter, which would otherwise indicate fortunate outcomes. Depending upon one’s perspective or bias, events to come as a result of this lunation will either be seen as fortuitous or as calamitous. Libra, representing either extremes or balance, ensures we will be given a choice between one or the other views of events, as mentioned.
Located presently in the final decanate of Scorpio we have a splendid view of comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS). It is currently on its way out of visibility, having reached its closest approach on the 27th of September, last month. It became visible to the naked eye on that date. But for stargazers who could view it, it could be found in the constellation Serpens Caput (the Serpent’s Head) near globular cluster M5. The symbolism of the serpent is apt for this manifestation, indicating both the wisdom of experience and ‘cutting the head off the snake’ in terms of conflicts. Comets in ancient times were seen as harbingers of disasters. In modern times comets (when visible to the naked eye) often signify the deaths of celebrities and important figures. Hassan Nasrallah (leader of Hezbollah) and a few others, for instance, were assassinated by an Israeli airstrike on the very day the comet became visible to the naked eye. That marked a pivotal moment for the Islamic world, one for which the Israelis are now paying dearly. We will have more on the latter, below. By and large comets indicate ‘messages from beyond’, since they originate in the far outer reaches of our solar system. As such, they represent insights into our collective unconscious (in distinction to the subconscious) – insights into things to come, and a clearing away of obstacles from the past, the latter being held in the subconscious recesses of our minds. We have yet to experience the fullness of the revelations this comet is to bring. But coming in concert with this full moon, coinciding with the eclipse on October 2nd and following closely from the eclipse on the last full moon, we can expect our eyes to be opened wide to many realities on the days ahead – a sort of psychological ‘shock and awe’. And don’t be surprised, Americans, if there is an October or November surprise. Time is running out quickly for the vested interests. From here we move on to current events and what to expect going forward.
There are three most important considerations which have all come together in the space of a few weeks, all discussed below. They are, in order of importance and in order for this letter:
All these items are important in varying degrees and perspectives. The BRICS conference opens humanity into the future, embracing Aquarian principles. The war with Iran – which most analysts say is a matter of when, not if – will mark the end of the Anglo-American Empire and Western hegemony. The US election will matter for four years, but will carry the West into next year (2025) when at some point the timing of the externalization of the spiritual ashrams will physically appear as well as the reappearance of the World Teacher, in the flesh. This latter date will not have anything to do with the election in the US. Given the rhetoric out of the two major candidates in this US election, it is probably fair to say they do not represent the spiritual and moral values to which most of humanity adheres.
Current events: The following have taken place since the 2 October eclipse/new moon:
The BRICS summit took place in Kazan (Russian Federation). The event went largely unreported in the Western media until the very end. Of course, what is being reported in the West is that ‘Putin is gathering allies’ in order to show the West’s pressure isn’t working. The Western narrative that ‘Russia is weak,’ and so forth, has to be reinforced to convince the Western public that our tax dollars are being put to good use in order to weaken Russia. But the BBC headline just linked is a false narrative. Russia is anything but isolated, except from and by the West. However, this summit was important, and for reasons other than de-dollarization and bypassing the SWIFT system. And by and large, it is not a bloc against the West. It is forming rapidly, though, because nations across the world are angry at the US for using the dollar and SWIFT as a weapon. They simply want to retain their sovereignty and do trade as they please with nations of like mind. The bloc will take some years yet to formalize all their systems and currencies. We are looking at nations with sometimes diverse views and ways of doing things. To be sure, also, the Western powers will do all they can to put obstacles in the path of the BRICS development, so as to retain the Western supremacy in finance and commerce. So, the US dollar is not looking to collapse immediately, and it will be an important world currency into the future. But its dominance in world trade is on notice now.
There were 13 new states inducted as BRICS Partners: Algeria, Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Turkiye, Uganda, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. Discussions are underway with each of those states to see if they meet the criteria for becoming full members. An announcement on their full membership is expected by the end of this year or the first of next year. Leaders from 36 nations were in attendance at the summit. At the end of the summit the group issued a declaration – the “Kazan Declaration.” More than 30 countries have expressed a desire to cooperate with the bloc in some way. What would that mean, exactly? It revolves around finances and trade, with the idea of making sanctions imposed by the West a thing of the past and being able to pay for trade and services in a nation’s own currency instead of dollars.
Not all was happiness, caviar and champagne at the summit, though. It may come as a surprise, but a few of the more important developments aside from economics at this summit were as follows:
In closing the BRICS summary, the results of the summit, as is usual with an ongoing development, was a mixed bag. The ragpickers and cheerleaders for BRICS will be analyzing this summit for some time. Yes, there is a lot of hype about the bloc, and there are also more sober analyses. Perhaps the most important aspect of the summit showed in the way it was conducted – at a round table and in adult conversations, as one analyst opined (read the whole thing for a good overview):
“The BRICS’ strongest achievement is sending a message of acceptance, compromise, openness, civility, and cooperation—the true definition of anti-illiberal qualities, the same the West so adamantly claims it champions. There was a kind of contagious energy that was palpable in the air: an alternate vision for a world led by sovereign grownups, not the small-minded, nervous little elitist compradors and pushy apparatchiks, the likes seen dotting the halls of the West’s equivalent institutions. In short, a breath of fresh air and maturity. This to me is the strongest message the BRICS sends. Even despite not achieving any major concrete advancements quite yet, it still was a symbolically significant set of optics for the entire developing world and global south to witness, which will only flower in the years to come as the wane of the West sets in.”
BRICS and West Asia: If you want to read something amazing, which would not have been voiced even a year ago, get a load of this, from a recent meeting between the Saudi Foreign Minister and the Iranian President:
“We seek to close the page of differences between the two countries forever and work towards the resolution of our issues and expansion of our relations like two friendly and brotherly states,” he said.
He highlighted the “very sensitive and critical” situation in West Asia due to Israel’s “aggressions” against Gaza and Lebanon and its attempts to expand the conflict in the region. He said Saudi Arabia trusted Iran’s wisdom and discernment in managing the situation and contributing to the restoration of calm and peace in the region.
Iran and Saudi Arabia formally declared in April of last year the resumption of diplomatic relations with immediate effect.”
Bolding added. Remember that little rapprochement between Saudi Arabia and Iran brokered by the Chinese? The statement just cited took place the day after the Iranians struck Israel with a couple hundred ballistic missiles. Iran’s retaliation made an impact in Saudi Arabia of another type, it would appear. The Saudis are seeing sense now, with both the ‘brotherly nations’ being BRICS aligned nations, too. But the Saudis are also facing significant internal pressures, as they have a large Shia minority in the country, and the bulk of the populace supports the Palestinians. If you don’t believe it, take a look at recent polling across the Arab world. The US is not seen in a very favorable light – not at all. Some people may not care, but our Western economies depend upon those Arabs being willing to deal with the West. If you are old enough, do you remember the gasoline crises of ‘70s? Americans freaked out then. But that was nothing compared to what we would see if the US tries to go to war with Iran. Have a read of that WaPo article. I remember the period well. I was in university then, and it gave rise to my infamous (to my family) road trip to West Virginia one summer, described in a recent letter (opening paragraphs). But the Iraqis have warned us: If we (the US) go after Iran not a drop of oil or gas will flow out of West Asia. Given how the people of the Arab world view the US since 7 Oct 2023, we may want to take them at their word. A new Middle East is being born. This brings us to the next major topic:
War with Iran?: It would appear the intelligence community in the US is trying to set the stage for a war with Iran. They have even gone so far as to claim the Iranians want to assassinate Donald Trump (archived), with the caveat that in assassinating Trump it would be considered a casus belli for war. Iran would be immediately blamed. The story is a complete fabrication and there are so many holes in it that it immediately falls apart. But we will leave that for this letter. There are other, more pressing reasons the neocons in Washington want a war with Iran, because the partnership between Iran, Russia and China is spoiling the neocon plans for a ‘New American Century’. And Bibi Netanyahu is not happy either. So long as Iran stands Israel will never be the regional hegemon, nor would they realize their plan for ‘Greater Israel’. Hence, we have all of Netanyahu’s nonsense about Iran being only weeks away from having the bomb. Meanwhile Israel is estimated to have around 200 warheads, ready to go. But there is more to this story to unravel.
Up until the 1st of October this year war with Iran seemed to be a foregone conclusion. Normally with such a missile barrage that Iran rained on Israel that day on October 1st, the Israelis would have immediately reacted with what they would consider to be overwhelming force. But up until the 26th they have held back. Why? The answer lies in establishing deterrence. The Iranians established deterrence against Israel on October 1st. They sent a couple hundred ballistic missiles in to show the paucity of Israel’s air defenses. The greatest part of the missiles landed. The message again, as in April of this year, was that Iran could hit Israel at will. As yet the Iranians have restrained themselves. Iran is estimated to have in the neighborhood of 500,000 missiles alone according to Mike Pompeo (ex-CIA director), not to mention probably a similar amount of drones. Those missiles by and large are housed deep within the mountains that line Iran’s Persian Gulf coast and as such are untouchable. A little math tells us that if Iran fired 200 of said missiles a day at Israel, the air defenses of Israel and all of its
supporters would be exhausted within days. Iran could keep up the pace of 200/day for at least six years. Israel would become a big, wide open target and defenseless. It would quickly be destroyed. The evangelical Christians in the US and UK would in orgasmic ecstasy, expecting the immanent Rapture and reappearance of the Christ. Nuclear strikes against Iran are out of the question, too. Wilkerson, in the video linked above, hinted at why – the US and Russia would never allow it. The consequences for the region and the world would be too devastating. And even then, Israel would still be defenseless. Those nukes would get a few of Iran’s missiles, but not enough. For the same reasons as just listed, the nuclear sites in Iran are off-limits. That brings up the question of Iran’s oil infrastructure.
There is reason to believe that both Israel and certain US corporate interests (Big Oil) would love to see Israel and thereby the US strike Iran’s oil fields. This, too, was hinted in Wilkerson’s interview, above. The main reason the aforementioned parties would relish seeing Iran’s oil infrastructure destroyed is because it would leave the US as the single largest oil producer in the world. The US could name its price for oil. It would devastate Europe. As the Iraqis stated after the October 1st strike, if Israel attacks Iran not a drop of oil will leave the Middle East. Europe is helpless without that oil – unless – unless something were to ‘happen’ to America’s oil infrastructure. We see there is quite a lot at stake. If there is a strike on Iran Israel will cease to function if Iran responds. Iran could destroy Israel many times over. They have stated as much. But the entire scenario would come at a terrible cost to the world economy. Then, there is the Russian question.
Neither Russia nor China will allow Iran to fall. Russia is already supplying them with anti-aircraft and electronic weaponry. They also share satellite intelligence with them. But the situation is obviously at a dangerous juncture. The Russians have advised their Russian expats to leave Israel. We might perhaps see why now. It is estimated that upwards of a million people of all extractions have already packed up and left Israel.
The Israeli strike: On the 26th of October the Israelis launched an attack on Iran, in what they claimed was retaliation for the missile strike on Israel that Iran launched earlier in the month. Rather than the Israeli strike being retaliation, it was instead a provocation. Ultimately Netanyahu had hoped to draw the US into attacking Iran, knowing the Iranians would respond in force. The Israelis had hoped to disable enough of Iran’s military infrastructure to blunt an Iranian response. The Israelis know they cannot defeat Iran on their own, but they see Iran’s defeat as the key to the pursuit of their own interests. The Israelis have been attacking Iran since the founding of the Islamic Republic, if we have to be honest, with assassinations of Iranian scientists and officials since 1979, and especially since Iran began its domestic nuclear program. They have also been attacking Iranian forces in Syria since they know Iran supplies Hezbollah through Syria as a primary route. The Iranians instead have quietly built up their defenses and missile systems all the while displaying strategic patience and taking the blows from the Israelis.
The Israeli attack this time involved a squadron of around 100 Israeli aircraft and a number of drones and missiles. It was supposed to have come in three waves. It was a bust. Recent analysis from intelligence sources including Israeli sources showed the Israelis had to abandon the assault in the first wave, not even having approached the Iranian coast. Instead, they fired off their air-borne missiles and retuned home. There was minor damage reported in Iran. So, what happened? Upon approaching Iran the Israelis encountered ‘an unknown air defense system over Tehran province’ and fearing for their aircraft, the Israelis turned around after firing off their missiles. Problem is, the missiles use standard GPS, which is easily jammed by Russian and apparently Iranian electronic warfare, so those missiles fell far from their marks. Tehran has shown they have a formidable air defense system, enhanced by Russian tech and systems. And stealth aircraft are no longer effective, as they can now be tracked with Russian and Iranian radars. But there is more.
The fog of war on this event has been intense. The Israelis claim the event was a big success, that Iran has suffered a setback. That is hardly the case – in fact quite the opposite. The Iranians gathered very valuable intelligence from the attack. They have vowed retaliation in the coming days. That retaliation will be quite powerful and leave no doubt about Iranian capabilities. They will hit Israeli military installations hard this time. Iranian strategic patience is at its end. But the attack also sent a clear message to the West and the other actors in the region: Iran is here to stay, and they are a formidable power. And they have yet to display their full capabilities. What do we hear in the West, instead? We hear the Israeli hasbara that Iran has been deterred, that the attack was a big success and so on. The Israeli and Western media are not yet to the point where they can admit the truth. Iran, like the media did with Russia, must be portrayed as weak. It set up the public for a huge shock, though, when the actual capabilities of Iran show themselves. But at the same time, with claiming the attack was a success, it goes to ensure the weapons and money keep flowing into Israel. The US has financed and supplied over 70% of what the Israelis have used to prosecute the genocide. That’s our tax dollars at work.
The implications from this attack are far-reaching. It has highlighted the effectiveness of Russian and Iranian air defense systems over those of NATO. With most of West Asia being armed with American systems, they now know they are sitting ducks against any Iranian attack. Despite what we hear in the Western news – that the Israeli attack was a great success – the Israelis were set back on
their heels. They know now that unless America joins the fight there is no way any appreciable damage can be done to Iran. That is where the THAAD system comes in. The US has sent one, or maybe two of those systems to Israel, each battery manned by 100 American soldiers. They are not there to defend Israel. Those batteries can be easily exhausted within the first minutes of any conflict without them being touched. The danger is, and the IOF probably hopes, that the THAADs will be hit. The troops are there as ‘tripwire’ forces. If they are killed, Congress will howl for blood and the US will be dragged into the war. We will find out in a few days if/when the Iranians retaliate. Israel’s chart shows the possibility of just such an event. But if America is drawn into the war it will prove to be one of the greatest military disasters of this century, and we will all pay the price for it – just so Bibi Netanyahu can stay out of jail.
Information through the grapevine, as it were, is that the leadership in Israel is fracturing as a result of the past year, and that there is a growing possibility he may be removed in a palace coup. We should probably expect that would not change Israeli attitudes that much, though. Israel is facing defeat on every front. They have not been able to advance, take or hold even one village in Lebanon. The IOF is taking heavy casualties. Troop morale in the IOF is plummeting, with large numbers of them experiencing PTSD. We do not hear much of that in the West. The Israeli media, which the Western media parrots, is such that they must say Israel is winning, which brings us to our next topic.
The New Middle East: The Saudi comments quoted above would not have been welcomed in Washington, who see the Saudis as a key ally in West Asia, not to mention the petrodollar scam that has kept American economic dominance to the fore since the ‘70s. A new Middle East is being born before our eyes, except it will not be the Middle East Washington or Tel Aviv want. When the Israelis lose the war and have to sue for peace, then we will begin to see a very different Middle East emerge than what we have had for the past 50+ years. The Israelis and Washington have no idea, and are stuck in the past. They think that by ‘terminating’ Nasrallah, Sinwar and other Hezbollah top leaders they have weakened Hezbollah and Iran. The Western leadership, especially in Washington have green-lit Israel’s invasion of Lebanon, in what they think will result in a ‘better outcome’ for the region:
“Behind the scenes, Hochstein, McGurk and other top U.S. national security officials are describing Israel’s Lebanon operations as a history-defining moment — one that will reshape the Middle East for the better for years to come. The thinking goes: Israel has obliterated Hezbollah’s top command structure in Lebanon, severely undercutting the group’s capabilities and weakened Iran, which used Hezbollah as a proxy and power projector.”
But here is what the entire conflict-ridden mess in West Asia boils down to: Israel was created first by the British, then taken over by the Americans for three things – access, consistency and price, meaning primarily of oil, but also of transit. The cover story was that Israel was created for the Jews to have a home after the holocaust. This latter was particularly driven home to American Jews, who from birth are indoctrinated into the Zionist view that the land Israel occupies now is the promised land and that they have a right to go there and take it from the Palestinians, Christians and other non-Jews who live there. It is a hoax, perpetrated upon the Jews by the Zionists for what amounts to geopolitical forces. Younger Jews in the US are beginning to see through the hoax. The Zionists and the vested interests in the West have created this unholy alliance, each with their own designs, but encouraged in them by their partners, in order to secure the resources of the region for their own use. And the Gulf monarchies by and large have bought into the plan. Now the entire thing is falling apart before our eyes. That brings us to the American component and a big reason why the Zionists have such a hold on American politics – and it is not simply a matter of Jewish Zionists.
Christian Zionism is an oxymoron. Zionism in and of itself is wholly against the essence of Christianity. It is important in our current struggles and with the election looming to understand this. Zionism came to American Christianity in the form of a reinterpretation of certain verses in the King James Version of The Bible. We should perhaps view the ‘reinterpretation’ as a ‘misinterpretation’, from a man name of Cyrus I. Scofield, “late lawyer, politician and shyster”. Scofield was a self-proclaimed Christian minister, as well as being a peer among scalawags and shysters. Many are the men who have ‘found God’ while doing time in prison. Scofield was a Leo, with Moon in Gemini (time unknown, for astrologers), and he had a message – and an ego to go along with it. He certainly has left his mark on American religion, in the nature of a black stain. His major literary work was the Scofield Reference Bible, widely used and disseminated today and the fundamental text among Evangelicals. And he and his message have been used by Zionists, Jewish and otherwise, to devastating effect over the past century. We see the fruits of their efforts today in Palestine and in so many other nations where ‘democracy’ has been brought to their shores and borders.
We do not have the space to go into Scofield and how he was used and groomed by the early Zionists in the 19th century to promote the creation of a separate Jewish state – which in itself runs counter to human progress. But through a combination of guilt, hatred, purposeful misconstruing of scripture, divide-and-conquer in Christianity, money, power and so on, Israel was created by the rich and powerful, and now seems to be on its way to its demise, by means of its own creation. ‘Christian Zionism’ is at the very heart of American politics these days. It is also one of the great hoaxes that has been foisted on a well-meaning but unsuspecting American and British public. Yes, the UK has its Evangelicals, too, as does Brazil. Now, we might believe that religion plays only a little part in what is going on in Palestine, but the fact is without the Evangelical movement, Israel would never have existed:
“When John Hagee, the founder of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), said that “50 million evangelical bible-believing Christians unite with five million American Jews standing together on behalf of Israel,” it was the Scofield Bible that he was talking about.”
Why is any of this significant? – because it gives a very clear background as to why the United States has such unyielding support for the Zionist construct of Israel, which many opposition commentators now call, ‘the entity’. Scofield and the likes of Zionist Jews like Untermyer introduced the heretical view of Zionism into Protestant Christianity, its followers now known as ‘Evangelicals’. I hesitate to call them Christians because of their supremacist and separatist beliefs. But that is another story for another time. I will say, though, that deceived as they are, most Evangelicals are good-hearted people, largely ignorant of the origins of their beliefs regarding Israel. If they really knew the truth most of them would probably eschew Zionism and denounce Israel for what it has done since its creation. However, it is this belief system that has made its way into American politics, especially among the ‘American right’ and the Republican Party, with its emphasis on a supposed ‘Judeo-Christian’ belief among the Founding Fathers of the US. In fact, the Founding Fathers were instead largely Deists and strongly influenced by European Enlightenment beliefs:
“Deism influenced a majority of the Founders. The movement opposed barriers to moral improvement and to social justice. It stood for rational inquiry, for skepticism about dogma and mystery, and for religious toleration. Many of its adherents advocated universal education, freedom of the press, and separation of church and state.”
We have seen a sharp turn away from such principles in the US today. America needs to revisit its founding principles. And that brings us to the importance of understanding the Zionist phenomenon in American culture, because the Evangelicals comprise a large voting bloc – tens of millions of voters – whose views weigh heavily in American politics these days. Zionism did not exist in the founding principles of the US, nor in its Constitution. Evangelicals are primarily conservative, pro-Israel (of course), Republican by and large, and courted in every election cycle by Zionist interests (donors, AIPAC, etc.) and now Donald Trump.
“It shows how the postwar labor alignments were replaced by the hard-right coalitions, thanks to U.S. neoliberal economic policies, assertive neoconservatism and Jewish-American donors. It also explains the causes behind the rise of the Messianic far-right, centrist parties, and the failure of the Left. The corrosion of Israeli society and politics was already reflected in and driven by an economy constrained by adverse erosion,…”
But those same woes are reflected more or less in the United States as well. Coming back to the main point of this section, Col. Douglas MacGregor had this to say in a recent interview with Judge Napolitano regarding the notion of whether or not we might be going to war with Iran:
“Most Americans on any given day are the victim of three things: First of all they only know what the mainstream tells them unless they listen to you [Napolitano] or a few other people who are referred to, as you know, as ‘alternative media’. So they’re not going to get the truth about anything. Secondly they have been subjected to an unrelenting stream of invective and criticism and hatred directed at anyone Israel doesn’t like, whether it’s Iran or Hezbollah or anybody else. And people don’t have a positive picture of Muslim Arabs, Muslim Iranians and so forth. And then finally, I think there’s the other problem is that most Americans don’t pay much attention. Look how long it took us to finally extricate ourselves from Vietnam, how long it took public opinion to swing away from that catastrophe. I just don’t see animated people in the United States that are saying this is a terrible mistake. You know, we’re cultivating hostility all over the world. The entire world is turning against us. And I would say that if we go to war with Iran that is absolutely what’s going to happen. It’s not just a question of Israel’s survival: Our position in the world will be damaged for decades.”
The US Election: In every recent election we hear familiar tropes bandied about in the media on both sides of our uni-polar political aisles. “Our fragile democracy is at stake,” is a favorite, as if electing one or the other candidate – and it doesn’t matter who it is – will destroy American democracy, or restore it. Well, it is questionable how much democracy we have actually had in the US, given that every presidential candidate is vetted beforehand. The situation in the US has been thus for many years.
We hear similar tropes at nearly every election: “This is the most important election of our lifetime!” For how many lifetimes have we heard that one? Do we really believe it? The trope seems to be in-built in American elections. I don’t want to sound cynical, but we have survived every administration since the nation’s founding. The closest we came to a national cataclysm was the American Civil War. And no, civil war in America is not on the books, nor in America’s astrology. The two major voting blocs in America – Republican and Democrat – are both giving us dire warnings of what will happen if the other side wins. It’s rubbish. We survived Trump before and will again. We will do likewise if Harris wins. And that brings us to a point I have made several times now: It will matter little which of the candidates, the major ones, win. Americans will lose. What we have in this election is a vote for either the oligarch class (Trump/Musk/Zionist billionaires) or the corporate class (Harris/military-industrial complex). Name your poison. But lo and behold! – most Americans now want to see at least a third party in American politics. We have a chance to vote for third parties. I did. It sends a message. It sends a ripple through the establishment, a shiver up the spines of the vested interests.
If voting is the only way to change the system, which has been rigged for years, then third parties at least need to gain ground. Of course, there are other ways to change governments, and the two major parties are warning us against foreign interference – you know, the ‘usual suspects’, being Russia, China and now Iran. That, too, is rubbish. Foreign interference in elections is what we do to other nations. The nations just mentioned look at our elections, shrug and shake their heads, because they know not much if anything will change so long as the system stays intact.
Our focus in this election really needs to be on Congress. That is where the laws are made and broken. The Presidents we have had since JFK are only figureheads anyway. But a big enough minority in Congress can indeed change America for the better, or worse. A large enough minority in Congress can break the uni-party monopoly on a host of issues, like ending our endless wars, for instance, and returning power to the people bit-by-bit. We need Citizens United reversed, for instance, to get the Big Money out of politics. That would do much to end the Democrats’ and Republicans’ gravy train. We need to break up the media monopolies, along with a few other monopolies. We need vigorous debate in the US, meaning freedom of speech being made sacrosanct in reality instead of being paid lip service. Only Congress will change these things, and only pressure from the grassroots will put enough pressure on Congress to make the needed changes. No president is going to waltz into office and sweep away the years of corruption and nepotism we see in Washington. Presidents get elected because of that corruption and Congress gets to decide who sits in the major cabinet seats of every administration. Just give it some thought.
I remember well the 2000 election and its aftermath, you know, the Bush-Gore race. It was decided in the Florida courts after a very acrimonious recount where every ballot was put under the microscope. We can probably expect something along the same lines this time. 9/11, Afghanistan and Iraq followed from the 2000 election. We defeated the Taliban in order to bring freedom and democracy to Afghanis, along with a lot of opium, and then handed it back to…the Taliban, who promptly returned to their way of things and got rid of the opium. Now we are dealing with the copium. For 20 years there we were winning, right? Then we had Obama who brought a message of hope and change – hopium for the masses, then Libya, Syria and ISIL/Daesh. Hopey-changey doesn’t pay the mortgage, though. It pays the military-industrial complex instead. The point here is neither Trump nor Harris are going to change much, not with Congress and the unelected state the way it is. And both of them pander to the Zionists. The ‘System’ just keeps rolling along. Now they want war with China. And The System runs the country, whether or not the President is a Rhodes scholar (Clinton), not-so-bright (“W”, and no, we don’t miss him.), black and swaggering (Obama), orange and loud (Trump) or non compos mentis (Biden). Perhaps I am being a little unkind. But another point here is that Congress has changed only but little, and they keep funding the wars, enriching themselves and leaving us more and more to fend for ourselves.
Just as we saw in 2016 the Democrats are running a poor campaign, with a candidate that has all the magnetism of a fencepost, while Trump is out among the public, keeping in mind he is also a reality TV star and knows well how to use even the most antagonistic media toward him to his advantage. Never underestimate the Gemini leader when it comes to being able to play opposites off of each other. They also know how to talk a good story. Trump is going to be hamstrung when it comes to ending wars, though. He will ramp up the war in West Asia, while seeking to dump Ukraine onto the Europeans. And as for the ‘Dream Team’ he has around him – Gabbard, RFK Jr., Musk, et al – dreams can turn to nightmares in an instant. If Trump wins, that team will be up against Congress, the military-industrial complex, Big Pharma (one of the biggest lobbying groups in Congress), oligarchs who will want more tax cuts, a solidifying Eurasian economic bloc, a Global South who deeply mistrusts the US now, a hostile media environment and a large portion of the America public who hates them. How much ‘swamp draining’ do we actually expect to see? And if they decide to go to war with Iran? – Heaven help us!
The System: For anyone thinking of voting for the Democrats in the election ‘because we have to keep Trump out of office’ there is a video and related article you need to see, starting at 1:11:45, by an ex-Democratic party operative who left the Party. Her article explains why the Democratic Party no longer represents the voter base, but instead caters solely to the donors. It has become a party of the rich. The Republicans are much the same. For anyone thinking of voting for Trump ‘because the Democrats are leftists(?)/totalitarian/corrupt’ or because Kamala Harris is an empty suit and so on, Trump is much the same as the Democrats, except he wants to go to war with Iran and has deep ties to the Zionists. The latter, who are openly terrorists, are currently committing war crimes and genocide. We all thought ‘never again’ meant genocide would never happen again, but here we are. One thing we can say for certain about Trump is that he has only one true interest, and that is Trump. Much of his rhetoric about Israel and Iran is directed at his donors to keep the campaign donations flowing.
“At first, I naively thought the system was broken. But now I realize, it isn’t broken; it’s doing what it was designed to do, which is to keep working class people from true representation. That is the point, a feature, not a bug. Of course, this occurs in the Republican Party, too. But Democrats are bigger hypocrites about it. These realizations pushed me from moderate Democrats to progressive candidates who rejected corporate PAC money, embraced a higher minimum wage, endorsed universal health care, and criticized the Party’s corporate wing. But when you’re working with progressives, you get a front-row seat to how the establishment beats and batters candidates out of step with the party line.”
Let choice be made: With the preceding points above in mind, we come now to the personal note and motto of Libra, the title of this topic. From the quote above, we know ‘The System’ runs very well, and is perpetuated at every election. We can talk all we want about how poorly run the Biden administration is, how Trump might be better since he has already had four years in the Oval Office, but with Biden’s recent removal from a 2nd term, and seeing there were many questions about who was running the country, there is big elephant sitting in the middle of the picture that few members of the public care to consider. Antony Blinken, for instance, is routinely cast as an idiot of a Secretary of State – a fool – but is he? Blinken is one of four founders of WestExec, a premier firm in the corporate intelligence think tank complex in the US. It has served in both Democrat and Republican administrations in advisory capacities, and it is featured first and foremost in its promotion of the genocide taking place in Palestine and Lebanon. It is cast as a Democrat–run organization, but in reality it is a bipartisan project, and notably with no independent political input. It is an ‘Old Boys’ club’, with a woke twist. But consider the following, and then we will see why voting for either party only perpetuates The System, and why Trump will never ‘drain the swamp’:
“Indeed, WestExec’s senior ranks are mainly populated by Democrats, but there are plenty of Republicans as well, and the same bipartisan spirit of camaraderie is true throughout virtually the entire corporate intelligence industry. That’s because — as is the case with lobbying and PR shops, think tanks, and other influence peddling entities where cash is thicker than blood — the companies’ bread and butter depends on maintaining fraternal relations with both parties in order to help their clients win federal contracts, subsidies, and other forms of budgetary slush.”
Further, and note this particularly well:
“America is run by a ruling class that’s born and bred to exercise power. Its members attend the same universities, have positions at the same think tanks between stints in government, are board members at the same corporations and advisors to the same hedge funds and private equity firms, and hold executive positions at the same access-dependent, door-opening corporate intelligence and advisory firms — and that last category leads to WestExec, which is a particularly instructive example.”
My advice to my fellow American voters is to vote your conscience on the 5th, wherever that lands. But please be aware that a presidential administration is only one third of government. There are also the judicial and legislative branches of government and many have been the presidents who have seen their initiatives scuppered by one or both of the other branches. It is also three months between the election and the inauguration. Anything can happen between now and then. We are looking at only one race when we look at Harris or Trump. There are other votes that in reality are even more important, notably in Congress. We never hear about them. Let conscious choice prevail!
A final question: We leave our discussion of these matters with a question upon which to contemplate: What happens when the Zionist project is finally defeated? In seeking an answer to that question many others arise. Given the indoctrination of Christians and Jews alike regarding Israel, what happens when it is all exposed as a large hoax? What of the Israel lobby in the US when Zionist Israel ceases to exist, which it undoubtedly will? This may well be the last election where the Zionist lobby sees prominent influence. What will the Jewish and American Zionists do then? Where will they turn their interests? And what of the Evangelicals when the ‘Jewish homeland’ is dissolving before their eyes and the Rapture never comes? With the American ‘land-based aircraft carrier’ in West Asia gone, what of ‘American and Western interests’ in the region? Oh yes – West Asia will be reborn, and become a vibrant part of the Greater Eurasian project, intimately tied to BRICS. America will recede from the region. Going back to the main question, with the Zionists gone, one clear answer emerges over time – peace in West Asia, absent the West to a large degree. Sovereignty among the region’s states will emerge. A big part of ‘the Jewish problem’ mentioned in Alice A. Bailey’s books will have been resolved. It will not happen overnight, but the movement in that direction is already clear to anyone apprised of all the information available across the globe. Whoever winds up in the Oval Office in January next year, once the hype and emotions subside, America and the world will go on. And the sun will rise each day. The US is not the be-all-end-all of the world. We need to tend to matters at home and leave the rest of the world in peace. That peace is coming. On that we can count. But choose well, my friends. It is, after all, the most important election of our lifetime! Our democracy is at stake!
